Directions
From Trout Lake, Follow State Highway 141 east to Forest Route 88. Follow 88 northeast across the forest boundary. Continue on 88 for approximately another 5-6 miles to the trailhead.
Location Information
Located in the northeast portion of the Ranger District, Langfield Falls Trail is a special interest trail, built as a memorial to an old-time District Ranger, K.C. Langfield. The trail commences at the parking lot adjacent to Forest Route 88. It parallels Mosquito Creek to a vantage point where the monument to K.C. is erected, with the beautiful Langfield Falls as a background. Youngsters and senior citizens can enjoy the easy hike and the scenic beauty of Langfield Falls.
