From Conway, NH, Travel south on SR 16 about 5 miles passing through the tiny burg of Albany. The trail is accessed from two locations: White Ledge Campground or Pine Knoll Camp which is .5 miles northeast of the campground on SR 16. An old road serves as a link between SR 16 and White Ledge Loop Trail.
Location Information
This trail has two access points with the most popular trailhead being the White Ledge Campground. This is a good hike for families because panoramic views are offered without too much effort. When you start the trail you will immediately cross a small brook before the junction with the old road / link trail which begins from Pine Knoll Camp along SR 16. The trail turns left and climbs into an open area before the continuous climb to the main overlook at 1.3 miles. The path descends for a short distance before climbing once again to reach the summit at 2.7 miles. This is a nice resting spot offering expansive views. From here the trail travels downhill back to the campground.
