From Conway, NH, Travel 2-3 miles west on Dugway Road to reach the southern terminus. (Farther west on Dugway, the covered bridge is closed each year November to May.) Northern access is off West Side Road in the town of North Conway.
Location Information
Moat Mountain Trail travels off Dugway Road north to Attitash and Red Ridge Trails to terminate just beyond Diana's Bath on West Side Road in North Conway. This hike offers magnificent views particularly when crossing South Moat Mountain, 2,749' and Middle Moat Mountain, 2,805' and North Moat Mountain, 3,196'. Red Ridge Trail is located about midway between Middle and North Mountains offering access into Echo Lake State Park. The Attitash Trail junction is on the northern stretch of the trail bearing left (west). Bearing right carries you past Diana's Bath and into the town of North Conway.
