Directions
From Yampa, West Trailhead (County Road 18 ): Follow State Hwy 131, 8 miles north from Yampa to County Road 14. Go east on 14, 4 miles to County Road 18A. Follow 18A east 0.6 mile to County Road 18. Follow 18, 3.2 miles to the trailhead.
Location Information
The Service Creek Trail provides hiking and horse access, east-west through the middle of the Sarvice Creek Wilderness. It can be accessed from either the west or east end of the trail. Those hiking can expect to meet horses especially on heavy use weekends and during big game hunting season. The Sarvice Creek Trail can be used with the Silver Creek Trail as a loop system.
