From Barr Camp, Hike one mile uphill from Barr Camp to the Bottomless Pit Trail turnoff.
Location Information
Bottomless Pit Trail stems from the Barr Trail 1 mile west of Barr Camp. It provides a view of a deep cirque and interesting rock formations of the Bottomless Pit. The only way to reach Bottomless Pit Trail is from Barr Trail. Bottomless Pit begins at 10,800' and climbs north to 11,600'. The trail leads the user along tree line 2.5 miles to the bottom of Bottomless Pit.
