Location Information
The Monument Trail begins at Memorial Grove dedicated to deceased Forest Service Personnel. Pass through the fence stile and travel up the road a short distance to reach the trail on the south side of the road. This trail follows Monument Creek in Limbaugh Canyon for most of the way to Mt. Herman Road. After you cross Mt. Herman Road the trail will widen to accommodate four wheelers. Less than .5 miles after you cross the road look for a trail heading northwest from this road. This will lead you to Balanced Rock Road and the Monument Work Center.
