Directions
From Highway 24, Southern Access: Clear Creek Road is about 19 miles south of Leadville or 14 miles north of Buena Vista, Colorado. Forest Road #120 is graveled and sometimes rough but satisfactory for most vehicles.
Location Information
From the dam at Twin Lakes, the Colorado Trail connects with the Interlaken Trail. The trail then continues up Little Willis Gulch over Hope Pass and down to Clear Creek Road. This section is moderate to strenuous hiking with and elevation gain of approximately 3,500 feet.
