Directions
From Crescent City, Take Hwy. 101 to the junction with Hwy. 199. Go east on 199 ten miles past the Visitor Center to mile post 24.85. Turn right at Forest Service Road 16 (also called FS 17N05), and stay on the paved road for about ten miles to the intersection with Forest Service Road 16N02, turn left and continue about five miles. The road ends at the trailhead.
Location Information
Follow Doe Creek Trail for about .6 mile and take the Buck Lake Trail to a high elevation lake. Enjoy excellent fishing in the quiet solitude of the Siskiyou Wilderness.
