Directions
From Gunnison, Take Hwy 50 east to Monarch pass. The trail begins behind the Visitor Center and underneath the gondola. Ask the Visitor Center for specific instructions.
Location Information
This trail follows the Continental Divide for 10 miles to Marshall Pass. Water is a problem along the trail so it is advisable to pack water with you on this trail. A three-sided Adirondack shelter can be found about six miles into the hike at the junction with the Green Creek Trail #1361. This trail forms a portion of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail and a portion of the Colorado Trail.
