Directions
From Lake City, Take Hwy 149 north toward Gunnison. About 1/4 miles past the town limits, turn left toward the old Lake City cemetery. Follow the road and turn right just in front of the cemetery entrance. The trail begins approximately 1/2 mile past the cemetery.
Location Information
Most of the Larson Lakes Trail is an old jeep road that has been closed to motorized vehicles. The trail is of moderate difficulty to Larson Lakes, but becomes difficult as it rises up to intersect with the Crystal lake Trail #235. Fishing in Larson Lakes is often good. Access to the Big Blue Wilderness is provided by the Crystal Lake Trail.
