Directions
From Quincy, Travel west on Hwy. #70, approximately 25 miles from the Quincy Ranger Station. The trailhead is located at Chips Creek. Trailhead T.25.N., R.6.E., NE Section 26.
Location Information
The Ben Lomond Trail (6EO4) is an strenous 4.6 mile hike at an elevation of 2,300 feet. This trail climbs 4,000 feet in 4.8 miles, a strenuous hike with spectacular views near the top. Destinations include Ben Lomond Peak (5,453 feet) and the High Lakes Area. Heavy bruxh field near the top. Hiking time is 7 hourws to Ben Lomond Peak, 9 hours to Chips Lake.
