From Alturas, The Pine Creek Basin Trailhead is one hour via County Road 56 and West Warner Road.
Location Information
This trail is located in the South Warner Wilderness. The trail leads uphill from the entry point. It runs along the creek at the bottom then opens into a big basin about halfway up. A few small ponds are located along the trail and fishing is fair. From the trailhead to Patterson Lake takes 4-5 hours.
