Directions
From Quincy, Travel west on Bucks Lake Road for 4 miles and turn left onto Slate Creek Road (24N28.) Travel 8.8 miles passing Dean's Valley Campground to ridge top. Lood for signs. From here take the left ford (23N99) and go 1.5 miles to trail signs for Oddie and No Ear Bar Trail . The McCarthy Bar Trailhead is to the left of the sign 1 miles further. Four-wheel drive is recommended.
Location Information
The Oddie Trail is at an elevation of 3,600 feet and approximately 1.3 miles long and strenuous. Good fishing and swimming is available from this trail. Much of the trail is through open country with midday temperatures rising over 100 degrees. Hiking time is 1 hour to the river and 3 hours to get out.
