Directions
From Graeagle, Travel south on Hwy. #89 for approximately 1.5 miles and turn right onto Primary Forest Route #24. Travel west for approximately 5.5 miles and follow signs to the campground. Follow the Grassy Lake Trail and connect with the Long Lake Trail. Trailhead T.22N., R.12E., SW 1/4 Section 32.
Location Information
The Long Lake Trail (12E26 and 12E27) is 2.7 miles and at an elevation of 5,800 feet. This trail climbs gradually for 2.7 miles past the Lily Lake Trail and the Grassy Lake trail and then onto Mt. Elwell Trail. Horse use is ok but not advised beyond Long Lake because of the unstable rock area.
