From Santa Margarita, Travel south on Interstate 101 and exit at the closed Forest Road 30S10. Enter the wilderness and trail from here.
Location Information
GENERAL INFORMATION: A 5.3 mile, easy-to-moderate hike. It descends 1400 feet from East Cuesta Ridge into Lopez Canyon. Lush vegetation, ancient oaks, and a year-round stream add to the delights of this walk. There are also two trail camps for the overnight visitor.
