Directions
From Taft, Travel eight miles south on Highway 33. Continue south for 13 miles after Highway 33 joins Highway 166. Turn south to stay on Highway 33 and travel about 20 miles, turn left (east) onto Lockwood Valley Road and travel five miles. Then turn south onto Forest Road 7N11 and onto Reyes Creek Campground and the trailhead.
Location Information
GENERAL INFORMATION: This trail starts at the Reyes Creek Campground. Approximately seven miles in the trail jions the Piedra Blanc National Recreation Trail. The trail travels through the Sespe Wilderness and southward towards the Sespe Creek. There are two trail camps located on the Mt. Pinos Ranger District portion of this trail, the Upper Reyes Creek and Bear Trap Camps.
