Directions
From Placerville, Travel 48 miles east along Highway 50, then take the Sierra-at-Tahoe Rd. Continue for 2 miles turning right onto Bryan Road (17E13) for 2 1/2 miles to the parking area located at the Sayles Canyon/Bryan Meadows trailhead.
Location Information
This trail provides visitors with a moderate climb back and forth across Sayles Creek for approximately 3 1/2 miles. The trail leads to a beautiful mountain park known as Round Meadows. Hikers continue through Round Meadows and ascend one mile to join the Pacific Crest Trail at the ridge crest.
