Location Information
Skull Rock Nature Trail begins on the northern side of Utah Trail across the road from Jumbo Rocks Campground. There is a marked trailhead and hikers should park along the paved road. Interpretive panels along this route explain the plants of the high desert. The trail winds around interesting rock formations before crossing the road and entering into Jumbo Rocks Campground. Within the campground is skull rock, which hikers can explore. This is an easy two-mile loop.
