Location Information
Darwin Falls Trail lies in the western area of the park near Panamint Springs. The trail follows Darwin Canyon, into a narrow stream-cut gorge, .75 miles one way. The terminus of the trail is Darwin Falls. The route cuts through lush vegetation and crosses the stream several times. The ecosystem surrounding the falls is very fragile so the Park Service asks visitors to refrain form swimming and bathing in the stream.
