Directions
From Twentynine Palms, Follow Twentynine Palms Highway westward 5.5 miles to Indian Cove Road. Turn left on Indian Cove Road and follow it to the backcountry registry, where Boy Scout Trail begins.
Location Information
The Boy Scout Trail leads 16 miles in a north/south direction between Indian Cove backcountry registry to Keys West backcountry registry. The path leads through the northwestern portion of the Wonderland of Rocks. Beginning in Indian Cove the trail ascends through a canyon leading westward. After approximately six miles the trail leaves the drainage and turns sharply southward. Within the next five miles the trail reaches a high point of 4,160 feet. It then descends slowly for several miles to Keys West.
