From Denny, This trail is accessed at the New River Trailhead which can be reached fom Denny via County Road 402 and Forest Road 7N15. The Virgin Creek Buttes Trail begins at the end of the New River Trail.
Location Information
GENERAL INFORMATION: Starting at the junction of the Virgin Creek and Slide Creek Trials, this trail extends up the ridge for about 2.5 miles to the site of an old Forest Service fire lookout. From here there is an unobstructed panoramic view of the entire New River Drainage.
