Location Information
GENERAL INFORMATION: The Brooks Ridge Trail starts at West Low Gap Trailhead and drops gently downhill through open brush hillsides and timber to Jensen Cabin. From here it drops sharply into the South Fork of the Trinity River and its junction with #10W41 (Powell Ridge). It then follows directly up Brooks Ridge to it's junction with #10W39 (Chicago Camp Trail) and it's end. The only dependable water on the trail is at the river crossing. Parts of this trail are very steep and brushy.
