Directions
From Darrington, Take the Mt. Loop Hwy. along the west side of the Sauk River. Follow this road for 3.6 miles to the trailhead on the right. Parking is just before the Clear Creek bridge on the right.
Location Information
Frog Lake Trail is a moderate one mile hike. The trail begins across from the Clear Creek Campground off the Mt. Loop Hwy. and ends at Frog Lake. This trail is a pleasant, short nature hike, climbing steadily up the side of the hill. The trail comes out at the road after 0.8 mile, but makes a sharp turn back toward the lake. The trail continues on passing through dense forest, eventually ending at 1.5 acre Frog Lake.
