This is a one-way trail which runs through glades and passes near historic Bloody Rock before entering a wooded area. The trail ends at the Eel River. There are several camps along the Eel River.Following the murder of an early settler in Gravelly Valley, the massacre of 65 Native American men in the Cabbage Patch-Bloody Rock area gave rise to the outcrop's name.
