Directions
From Yampa, Follow County Road 17 north 5 miles to County Road 132. Follow 132 west 3.4 miles to Forest Highway 16 and continue another 21 miles to Forest Road 969. Follow 969 less than 1 mile north to the trailhead.
Location Information
The Cyclone Park Trail is located in the Pyramid/Ripple Creek Pass area west of Yampa. The trailhead is found on 969, just off Forest Highway 16 between Pyramid and Ripple Creek Pass. The trail leads northwest, to the north of Cyclone Park, ending in the Beaver Creek drainage where it intersects trail #1193. A branch of the trail can be followed across Cyclone Park, intersecting trail #1193 to the west of the park. Trail #1193 is accessed from the South Fork of the Williams Fork River.
