Directions
From Young, Travel about 28 miles south on State Highway #288 turn east on FR #189 and travel 5 miles to the trailhead at Oak Creek Cabin. A high clearance vehicle is recommended for this road.
Location Information
This trail offers access to the Sierra Ancha Wilderness and Indian ruins at Oak Creek Cabin. The trail drops into Coon Creek Canyon, passes through a riparian zone and a grove of Arizona Cypress. There are campsites at Oak Creek Cabin and Coon Springs.
