From Scotty's Canyon, Follow Highway 267 southward to Titus Canyon Road. Turn left on the canyon road and travel about 2.5 miles to the Fall Canyon Trailhead.
Location Information
The Fall Canyon Trail lies in the northern portion of the park. It begins on Titus Canyon Road about two and a half miles from Highway 267. A trail leads northeast along the base of the mountains 0.5 miles to a large wash. This is the mouth of Fall Canyon. Hikers should follow this wash, which develops into a canyon with high, narrow walls. Three miles from the parking area is a 35-foot dry waterfall. Navigate around this very carefully on the southern side of the canyon. The terrain above the wash contains some of the most beautiful narrows in Death Valley. Beyond this point, the canyon is navigable for another four or five miles. Bighorn sheep can be spotted throughout this terrain. This trail is not recommended for summer use. Bring lots of water in preparation for the extreme heat.
