From Fresno, Take Highway 168 north 70 miles to the lake. Deer Creek is located on the northest side of the lake.
Location Information
Deer Creek picnic ground is one of many located on Huntington Lake. Picnic grounds, campgrounds and the lake itself make up the Huntington Lake Recreation Area which is at an elevation of 7,000 feet. It provides much entertainment year round. The picnic ground itself has five sites. There is drinking water and facilities available there. Because of its location, there is also swimming at the picnic ground.
