Directions
From Beaver Creek, Travel 34 miles east on I-70 to the first Frisco exit (#201). Turn right and drive through Frisco to Hwy 9. Turn right on Hwy. 9 and travel about 3 miles to Swan Mountain Road, on the east side of Dillon Reservoir. Turn left onto Swan Mountain Road and go about 3 miles to the overlook, on the left.
Location Information
The Sapphire Point Picnic Ground is located at the very scenic Sapphire Point Overlook, with views of Dillon Reservoir and the surrounding mountain ranges. It is located along the east side of Dillon Reservoir, between Breckenridge and Keystone.
