From Foresthill, Travel 12 miles east on Mosquito Ridge Rd., turn right (south) onto Forest Rd #23 and proceed to the picnic ground.
Location Information
Ralston Picnic Site is located 13 miles east of Foresthill on the Middle Fork of the American River at an elevation of 1,300 feet. This picnic ground has 5 sites with tables and fire rings. There are toilets and scarce firewood, but no water other than the river. Fishing, gold panning, swimming and canoeing are available here.
