Location Information
Located on the far eastern/central edge of Arkansas, bordering the Mississippi River at one point lies the imposing Crowleys Ridge. With an elevation of only 40 feet, this ridge also sustains two large lakes, one of which is Bear Creek Lake, which is the furthest of the two from the mighty Mississippi.

There is not a great deal of information on this site. And making a call to the St. Francis Ranger District netted very little information. This area had just been reopened as of 1999 with new picnic tables and grills. But it is close to the lake and conveniently located between Lone Pine and Beech Point areas.
