Directions
From Mt. View, Take Arkansas Hwy. 14 northwest (paved) for 13 miles, then turn right on Forest Service Road 1110.
Location Information
Located in the north central portion of the state close to the Blanchard Springs Caverns. Picnic tables and fire grills are tucked under the shade of the pines around a large open field. A pavilion is available by reservation only.

In the summer, Forest Service naturalist-guided activities are offered, including evening programs covering natural history of the Ozark National Forest as well as Ozark folk culture. Programs presented at the Shelter Cave Amphitheater. Schedules and program topics posted on the campground bulletin boards.

Day-use area provides picnicking (21 family units), flush toilets, fishing, hiking, swimming area with bathhouses and showers.

Primitive camping is allowed anywhere on Forest Service land outside of developed recreation areas. No permit is required. Campers are asked to keep campfires small and make sure they are dead out before leaving. Be especially careful of sanitary disposal and carry out all garbage.
