Directions

From LA Basin, Follow I-15 south to Highway 79 South (Temecula). Follow Hwy 79 southeast, approx. 53 miles, to Santa Ysabel. Turn east and follow Hwy 79 one mile to the Inaja Memorial. Turn right into parking area.

Location Information
GENERAL INFORMATION: This picnic ground was established soon after the 60,000 acre Inaja Forest Fire of 1956. Eleven firefighters - two Forest Service personel and nine from Viejas Honor Camp- lost their lives fighting this human caused fire.
