From Aspen, Go five miles southeast on Highway 82 to Difficult Campground.
Location Information
Difficult Family Campground is located five miles southeast of Aspen on Highway 82. It has 47 sites with limited spurs to accommodate trailers up to 40'. Water, garbage and vault toilets are provided for visitors. Difficult Campground provides access to hiking trails and fishing sites. It's located at an elevation of 8,180' and has a five-day stay limit with a fee of $12.00 per night.
