Directions
From Leadville, From the traffic light on Harrison Avenue drive north to Lake County Road 38 (Mountain View Drive). Make a left on to 38 and drive until you reach a "T" in the road. Turn right at the "T". Follow this road until you reach a large parking area. Turn left here and cross a set of railroad tracks. This road will bring you to Turquoise Lake Road (County Road 9). Turn right on 9 and follow it approximately 1.75 miles to Tabor Boat Ramp and Lady of the Lake Picnic Ground.
Location Information
Lady of the Lake Picnic Ground is located on the eastern shore of Turquoise Lake. Surrounding the picnic ground is the Tabor Boat Ramp, Father Dyer Campground, Baby Doe Campground and Printer Boy Group Picnic Area and Campground. Recreation opportunities from this site include, but are not limited to the following: mountain biking, hiking & walking, ATV riding, four-wheel driving, water sports, canoeing and fishing. Picnic season begins in May and continues to October. The grounds are equipped with tables, toilets, fireplaces and trash collection. Camping is prohibited in these areas. They are restricted to day-use only. All picnic grounds close at 10:00 p.m.
