From Fairplay, Jefferson Boundary Picnic Ground is located approximately 21 miles northeast of the town of Fairplay, Colorado. Visitors can reach this area by taking State Highway 285 north seventeen miles to the town of Jefferson. Then travel west on County Road 35 for approximately two miles to Forest Development Road (FDR) 37. Travel northwest on FDR 37 for approximately two miles to the picnic ground
Location Information
Jefferson Boundary Picnic Ground is located approximately 21 miles northeast of the town of Fairplay, Colorado. Visitors can reach this area by taking State Highway 285 north seventeen miles to the town of Jefferson. Then travel west on County Road 35 for approximately two miles to Forest Development Road (FDR) 37. Travel northwest on FDR 37 for approximately two miles to the picnic ground.

This picnic ground consists of 4 sites. Each picnic site includes a table and a fire grate. One vault toilet provides sanitary facilities for the picnic ground. Pack out what you pack in - There is no garbage collection at this site. Recreation opportunities for this site include lake and stream fishing and hiking.
