From Yampa, Travel S/SW on Routt County Rd #7 approximately 7 miles to FDR 900. Travel another 7 miles on FDR 900 to Bear Lake Picnic Ground, on the left side of the road.
Location Information
The Bear Lake Picnic Ground is located in the Bear River area, 14 miles southwest of Yampa. The picnic area sits in a scenic spot, on the east end of Yampa Reservoir, adjacent to Bear Lake Campground. Facilities: The picnic ground has 6 sites, with picnic tables, fire grates, trash collection, and a restroom. Drinking water is available at the campground.
