Directions
From Colorado Springs, Travel 18 miles west on Highway 24 to Woodland Park. Turn north on Hwy 67 and drive 7.5 miles to Manitou Park Lake. The picnic grounds are on the south shore of the lake.
Location Information
Manitou Lake Picnic Ground is located 7.1 miles north of Woodland Park along Colorado Highway 67. The elevation of the site is 7,700'. It has 42 picnic sites. Picnicking season begins in May and continues into October. A $4 parking fee is charged. All areas have tables, fire grates, potable water, vault toilets and garbage collection. The picnic ground is open year round. The pavilion can be reserved for group events by calling Rocky Mountain Recreation Company at 1-800-416-6992. The fee is $25.00 for reservations plus $4.00 per vehicle.
