Directions
From Gunnison, Travel four miles north on Highway 135 to Ohio Creek Road, Forest Road 730, and proceed about twenty miles to Beaver Ponds Picnic Grounds Parking. There is a short half mile walk to the Beaver Ponds.
Location Information
An easy .5 mile trail leads to these beautiful ponds surrounded by Aspen trees and scenic views. This is a good place to take kids for fishing and enjoying fascinating beaver work. Brook trout are present in these lakes and fishing is rated as fair.
