From Nevada City, Travel east on Hwy. #20 for approximately 19 miles and turn left onto Primary Forest Route #18. Travel north for approximately 3 miles and past the picnic ground. The lake will be on the right.
Location Information
Blue Lake is located approximately 3.5 miles north of Bear Valley Picnic Ground. Fingerling rainbows are planted each year. Occasional plants of brown fingerlings are made to control the growing number of bullhead catfish.
