From Cheha State Park, Travel the Talladega Scenic Drive (State Route #281) north for about 7 miles. Turn left on County Route #24 and travel 0.75 miles to the lake.
Location Information
Morgan Lake is a 14 acre lake nestled in a valley southwest of Heflin, off the Talledega Scenic Drive. It offers fishing for bass, bream and catfish. Natural and artificial baits may be used. Fishermen utilize small boats and the shoreline. Boating in electric or manually powered boats is permitted. The lake is open from dawn to dusk year-round.
