From Sierra City, Travel approximately 5 miles east of Sierra City on Hwy. #49, turn onto Gold Lake Hwy. at Bassetts Station. Continue on Gold Lake Hwy. for 4 miles. Upper Salmon Lake is located approximately one mile west of the highway.
Location Information
Lower Salmon Lake is located approximately 6 miles north of Sierra City. This lake has 2,000 fingerling brook trout planted each year. Salmon Creek runs out from the south shore of this lake.
