From Sierra City, Travel northeast on Hwy. #49 for approximately 4 miles, turn left onto Gold Lake Hwy. Travel approximately 1 mile and turn left (southwest), continue for 3 miles west to Packer Lake Road. The picnic ground will be on the right. The lake is near the picnic ground.
Location Information
Packer Lake is located approximately 3.5 miles northwest of Sierra City. This lake has catchable rainbow or brook trout planted in it every two weeks. Bank and boat access is excellent.
