From Taylor Park, Travel north on Taylor Park Road from Rivers End Campground on the northern shores of the reservoir. Tellurium Creek dumps into the Taylor River approximately three miles north of the Pot Hole Lakes. Forest Road 584, a four-wheel drive road, leads north along Tellurium Creek to the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness boundary.
Location Information
The headwaters of Tellurium Creek originate at 12,300 feet at Ptarmigan Lake. The creek flows in a southeasterly direction to meet the waters of the upper Taylor River. Approximately one mile below Dorchester Campground the creek crosses Taylor Road. The upper stretches of the creek contain Brook trout, and a few Brown trout inhabit the lower stretches, with fair fishing in both areas. There are frequent ponds along this six foot wide stream.
