Directions
From Almont, Drive seven miles north on Taylor Canyon Road, #742. Turn left on to Spring Creek Road, Forest Road 744, which leads along the creek to Spring Creek Reservoir.
Location Information
Spring Creek originates on the southwestern flanks of American Flag Mountain in the Elk Mountain Range. It's waters flow southward to Spring Creek Reservoir and on to the Taylor River. Several National Forest campgrounds surround the confluence of Spring Creek and the Taylor River. There are many accessible miles of stream before the confluence with the Taylor. The fishing in Spring Creek is rated as good.
