From Leadville, From Harrison Street turn on to West Sixth Street to County Road 4. Make a right on to County Road 4, at the "T", and drive to County Road 9 and the Sugarloaf Dam Site. From the Dam drive approximately 1 mile and turn left on to the road for Abe Lee Fishing Site.
Location Information
The standard limit of fish allowed from Turquoise Lake is as follows: 8 trout; 1 mackinaw, under 22 or over 34 inches. Turquoise Lake is stocked with rainbow trout and kokanee. Other species in the lake include brown, cutthroat, and brook trout. Turquoise Lake is rated as fair to good fishing. This is a day use area which closes at 10 p.m.
