Directions
From Lake Chelan, Domke Falls Campground is located about 10 miles south of Stehekin.
Location Information
Located approximately ten miles south of Stehekin on the western shore of Lake Chelan, Domke Falls Campground has four tent sites with fire rings, picnic tables, and floating dock with a six boat capacity. There is fairly good fishing in the area. A fee is collected for overnight use of the campground.

Domke Falls, Mountain and Lake all take their names from Henry Domke, one of the first settlers who attempted to secure a livelihood from the wild but plentiful resources of the up lake regions. Domke is reputed to have tried to harness the power of Domke Falls for a sawmill. The sawmill never produced any lumber- some say the saw ran backwards. Others say that the penstock was smashed to smithereens by the power of the falls. In any case, Domke soon headed down lake for the more civilized regions of Chelan.
