Directions
From Big Stump Entrance, Drive 1.5 miles northward on Highway 180 to Generals Highway. Turn right on the Generals Highway and travel approximately 17 miles to the entrance for Dorst Campground.
Location Information
Dorst Campground lies on Dorst Creek on the northern portion of the Generals Highway. This site is open through the summer months for individual and group camping. It provides access to the Muir and Lost sequoia groves.

This campground consists of 201 individual and group camping sites. Each campsite includes a picnic table, fire pit and grill and bear-proof food containers. Sites at Dorst Campground are available under the NPS reservation system. Campground facilities include drinking water, flush toilets and a dump station. Ranger programs and pay phones are available within two miles of the campground.
