Directions
From Three Rivers, Travel north on Highway 198 2.5 miles to Mineral King Road. Turn right on Mineral King Road (not recommended for RVs and Trailers) and drive approximately 18 miles to Atwell Mill Campground.
Location Information
The Atwell Mill Campground lies along Mineral King Road in the East Fork Kaweah River Valley. The site consists of 21 campsites each with a picnic table and fire pit with a grill. Campground amenities include drinking water and pit toilets. Nearby amenities include food, showers and a pay phone. This site is not open to RVs or trailers and drinking water is not available after 10/31. Campers at Atwell Mill can enjoy hiking, horseback riding and backpacking opportunities. The surrounding terrain is mountainous with a variety of wildlife and vegetation, including black bear and sequoias.
