Directions
From Big Stump Entrance, Follow Highway 180 northward past Generals Highway to Grant Grove. The access road for Azalea Campground also leads to General Grant Tree.
Location Information
Azalea Campground lies in the Grant Grove area of Kings Canyon National Park at an elevation of 6,500 feet. The facility encompasses 113 individual camping sites, open year round. Individual sites are given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Each campsite includes a picnic table and fire pit and grill. The campground amenities include bear-proof food containers, drinking water and flush toilets. Dining facilities, showers and pay phones lie within one mile of the site in Grant Grove Village. Ranger programs and riding stables are also available in the Grant Grove area.
